We would firstly like to start by saying that we were very glad to be part of ASHA’s last training course. The main focus of this course was to expand our knowledge on the topics of politics and economics, as well as pitch new ideas to better the future of Europe as a whole. The course started on the 30th of August and lasted until 8th of September. There were participants from various countries and various backgrounds. From Spain, Italy, England to Macedonia, Poland, Estonia, Slovakia – everyone felt seen, heard and part of the project.
Even though we had a lot of fun throughout the whole project, we have some favorite activities. Firstly, there was an activity where we had to draw out how big we think Europe is and what it includes or does not include. Our second favorite activity was when we had to fill out flip charts from A to Z with words that remind us of Europe.
Overall, it was a very pleasant and thought-provoking training course. Full of fun people, interesting topics, and beautiful nature (Thanks to the amazing garden of the centre).
