Within the framework of the Erasmus+ Youth Exchange “Frames of Belonging – Exploring Identity Through Cinema and Stage”, an Advance Planning Visit (APV) was successfully held, gathering one representative from each participating country. The meeting served as a crucial preparatory step for shaping the structure, objectives, and logistics of the upcoming exchange.
The main objective of the project, agreed upon by all representatives, is to create two short films directed and produced by the youth participants. These films will explore emotional and social skills, communication, empathy, and the experience of migration and belonging, expressed through the language of cinema and performance.
Throughout the APV, the team collaboratively finalised the day-by-day programme, ensuring a balanced mix of theatre techniques, storytelling sessions, film production workshops, and intercultural learning activities. The schedule includes a variety of creative and reflective elements — from physical and image theatre to scriptwriting, stop motion, and editing workshops — all designed to help participants connect with one another and express their stories visually.
Beyond the creative structure, the representatives also discussed logistical aspects, such as accommodation, venues, local transportation, and community involvement, ensuring that every detail contributes to a smooth and meaningful learning process.
By the end of the meeting, all partners shared a clear, unified vision for the project’s implementation — one that celebrates creativity, cultural diversity, and personal growth through art. The APV concluded in a spirit of enthusiasm, collaboration, and inspiration, setting the foundation for an engaging and transformative youth exchange experience ahead.
