From 28. to 30.10.2021. we held a preparatory meeting in order to define the methods of implementation and logistics arrangements for the Erasmus + youth exchange “My European Passport”.
Youth exchange “My European Passport” will be held from 18 to 25 of November 2021 and is the first in a cycle of projects within the newly approved Erasmus + accreditation of the Association of Positive Samobor. The project will bring together a total of 24 participants from Bulgaria, Macedonia, Romania and Croatia in Samobor.
The main goal of the project is to empower young people to become active and responsible European citizens, by achieving specific goals such as raising participants’ basic knowledge of the EU, raising their awareness of EU opportunities -a, developing basic competencies for active citizenship and developing a sense of a common European identity.

Youth exchanges will include workshops aimed at increasing participants’ knowledge of the basic (geographical, historical, political and cultural) features of the European Union, civil rights, structured dialogue between young people and decision-makers, and the opportunities the EU offers for young people (especially under the Erasmus + program). In addition, the afternoon series of workshops entitled “Traveling in Europe” will be dedicated to exploring each EU member state and creating imaginary characters that present the country’s characteristics and fundamental EU values such as equality, tolerance and respect. diversity. During the exchange, participants will create an installation “My European Passport” which will combine all the acquired knowledge about the EU and be presented at the final online event.
The preparatory meeting brought together representatives of partner organizations / group leaders, with the aim of discussing and developing in more detail the methods of project implementation, workshops and logistics arrangements.
The meeting was attended by Barbara Maričić, Lana Jager, Marko Babić and Romina Galović Piškulić on behalf of the Association for Sustainable Development of Pozitiva Samobor; Damjan Mircheski on behalf of partner CET platform Macedonia and Teofil Baluta on behalf of Euroactive partner from Romania. A representative of Bulgarian partner Walktogether will take part in the preparatory meeting in digital form.

During the preparatory meeting, the partners defined the following aspects of project implementation:
- workshops and methods to be used during the main activity;
- division of tasks between national teams / partners;
- profile of participants of each national team;
- preparatory tasks for participants;
- support for participants with fewer opportunities;
- individual contracts of participants;
- rules and guidelines regarding COVID-19;
- house rules of the venue;
- travel itinerary of each national team;
- insurance;
- project results and public event;
- ensuring project visibility and dissemination of project results;
- other relevant aspects of the project.
In addition to the formal part, the representatives of Positive Samobor organized a visit to Samobor and Zagreb and socializing with the entire team of the host organization, during which the representatives of the partners had the opportunity to get to know the local culture and customs.
