From the 6th to the 13th of April 2024, in Ceuta, Spain, we co-organized the Erasmus+ Training Course “Strengthening Diversity and Inclusion Youth Work in Europe”, hosted by our Spanish partner K’mon Association.
This second mobility activity – The training course addressed the needs of youth workers coming from 10 European youth organizations in increasing the quality of their youth work, improving facilitation skills and providing practical skills and non-formal learning tools to work with inclusion and diversity issues.
During this training course, youth workers were encouraged and guided to reflect on and assess their role as youth workers through relevant European competence frameworks with providing formal educational resources while working on developing new training activities and methods. We had a space to design and plan strategic action plans and follow-up projects and activities to work with diversity, address social exclusion and encourage the active participation of disadvantaged groups, especially young people with fewer opportunities in society.
We had an amazing time in Ceuta, where besides learning, reflecting and participating, we managed to deepen our professional networks and to create a strong mindset for diversity and inclusion of young people.
