In the period from 18-23.11.2019, there was a Partnership Building Activity ‘Sport as a Tool for Social Inclusion and Active Citizenship’ that took place in Vienna, Austria.
30 participants from 15 countries (Austria, Belgium, Croatia, Estonia, Hungary, Italy, Latvia, Lithuania, Macedonia, Netherlands, Portugal, Romania, Slovakia, Spain and Turkey) represented their organization or the organization they were volunteering in. CET Platform Macedonia was represented by its president and the project coordinator.
The main aim of this PBA was to establish possible future long-term cooperation’s with the selected organizations and collaborate in increasing the number of projects aiming at enhancing social inclusion and active citizenship in Erasmus+ funded projects.
There were many outcomes of this project. We have developed new partnerships with European organizations, working with youth experienced and interested in social inclusion and active citizenship through creative usage and good practices of using sport as a tool for it, we studied different methods and we shared practices and experiences on the usage of sport as a tool for social inclusion and active citizenship in youth work, we learned more about the Erasmus+ and Erasmus+ Sport programmes and the different possibilities for applying projects.
These activities helped us to finish the final task of the PBA, which was to develop project ideas that will use sport as a tool for social inclusion and active citizenship. We managed to develop 7 ideas, which will be applied in the February deadline by the hosting organization Move to Be You.
