Kick-Off meeting of “Education 4.0 for Youth” project held in September 2-3 in Kahramanmaraş, Turkey, successfully brought all partners of the project together. With 25 participants, representing 5 partner countries, the meeting proved very fruitful for the initiation of the project and for starting the work.
The Greece team couldn’t attend the meeting face to face, so Zoom meeting was held during the meeting.
The Kick-Off meeting not only allowed to introduce the scope and structure of the project, its overall management concepts and the detailed work plans of the individual work packages, but it also paved the way for a common understanding of the interconnections between the work packages by all participating project partners.
Extensive work package sessions particularly for the Survey for students, teachers and employers and Dissemination strategy and Roles and duties for each partner focused on the shaping of the work flows and successfully initiated the start of the action.
Meeting breaks and side meetings were extensively used for discussions and preparations of the next steps.
In summary, all participating project partners and individuals appeared highly committed to the project. It served successfully all the purposes the meeting was designed for and prepared a very smooth start of the project. Strong collaboration networks were established across the borders of subdomains.
The Kick-Off meeting was organized both in plenaries to achieve the first two objectives, and as specific Intellectual output sessions to support the second and to achieve the third objectives.
During the meeting, at the Conference Hall at Teknokent, all the partners presented their organization and then the forms of conducting the project were discussed.
Certificates of participation were given to the participants and volunteer students who helped the flow of the meeting, and the next meeting locations was agreed. It will be in North Macedonia, hosted by CET Platforma in February 2022.
