From the 6th to 9th of December 2023, we were in Thessaloniki, Greece for the General Assembly and Networking event of the Transnational United Network in Europe (TUNE).
TUNE Network represents a network of 18 partner organizations from 16 European countries, coordinated by United Societies of Balkans, who share the values of empowering youth to be active citizens in democratic life, promotion of voluntarism and social inclusion with support of Erasmus+ programme and European Solidarity Corps.
In the framework of the TUNE Network, national actions are planned for the next 3 years, including Info Days on the EU and the opportunities offered to young people by its programmes (Erasmus+, ESC, DiscoverEU etc.), production of short videos by youth workers, volunteers from all over Europe and their experiences, as well organisation of seminars and workshops.
During the General Assembly the partners had the opportunity to assess the results from the activities implemented in the 1st year and to develop new project ideas addressing youth engagement in democratic life ensuring the sustainability of the network. We also discussed actions for the 2nd year of its operation which will emphasize the participation of young people in decision-making processes, participation in elections, active participation in society, but also in the public space in their community and in their country, but also in creating opportunities for young people to express their views, ideas, to make their voice heard.
TUNE Network is co-funded by the EU.
