On the day of arrival in Sofia we were met Horhe, a very cool guy, he was the organizer of the project. He gave us a tour around Sofia while we were waiting for all the participants to arrive, finally in the evening after everyone arrived, we head to Uzana with a bus where we arrived very late. The nature around the hotel we stayed in was spectacular. On the first day we had workshops prepared by the facilitator regarding general Erasmus+ programme, the youth exchange topic of social media and created a schedule of individual tasks that would be carried out each day by different participants. There were 5 individual tasks – conduct energizers for the day, choose music playlist, timekeeper, daily report and daily videos. For the rest of the duration of the project we were divided into international groups and each group would make and host a session for the other participants, each group had to host 2 sessions in total. Some of the sessions included: Create a promo video for Erasmus+ programme, guess whether a sentence is AI generated or human generated, discover the 8 key competences. Before most of the sessions we had energizers which were conducted by the participant in charge of the energizers in that day. In the late afternoon we would have a reflection period where we discuss with our national leader about the day. We had 3 intercultural evenings in which a couple of countries would present their national food, dances and history. We also had 1 free day where we explored Gabrovo and Ethno Village Etar. During our free time we loved to explore the mountainous region around the hotel and we visited the geographical center of Bulgaria. At the end we all left the project with new friendships with people around Europe, and we had a great time spend together while exploring the topic of social media impact of youth work and learning from each other.
